Siliguri, 17th January: A blood donation camp was organized by Siliguri East Bengal Fan Club at Kanchenjunga Stadium, on Monday.
It has been learned that blood is required for the treatment of the injured individuals of the tragic train accident at Maynaguri. However, the camp was organized keeping in mind that there is a blood crisis in the blood bank of Siliguri District Hospital and North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. The blood collected in the camp will be sent to the aforementioned hospitals.
Madan Bhattacharya, Acting President of Siliguri East Bengal Fan Club said, “Every year we conduct blood donation camp on behalf of Siliguri East Bengal Fan Club.”
