Siliguri, 25th January: To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Siliguri College, a ‘Half Marathon’ was organised through a joint initiative of Siliguri College and the Siliguri Marathon Committee.
The event was attended by Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb as the chief guest. Also present were College Principal Sujit Ghosh, members of the college administration, representatives of the Siliguri Marathon Committee, and other distinguished guests.
Participants from different places took part in the half marathon, reflecting strong public participation and enthusiasm. The primary objective of the initiative was to promote healthy living through sports and to inspire the youth towards a disciplined and active lifestyle.
