Siliguri, 13th January: The abduction of CA Kishan Kumar Agarwal (47) has been solved by the Siliguri Commissionerate Police. In this case, 4 men, identified as Ranjit Ghimire (45), a resident of Sukna, Ravin Oraon (24), a resident of Assam, Anwar Hussain (27) and Faiz Ahmed (20), a resident of Bihar have been arrested from Gopalganj, Bihar. The police were also successful in recovering the ransom money.
This information was provided by Siliguri Police Commissioner Tripurari Atharva in a press conference on Monday. He said that Kishan Kumar Agarwal who was abducted from Punjabi para on January 7 has been rescued from the grip of the kidnappers with the help of the Bihar Police.
Reportedly, Rs 47 lakh, 10 mobile phones, pistols, live cartridges have also been seized from the kidnappers. The Police Commissioner said that at present, all have been kept at the Motipur police station in Bihar. After the paperwork, all the arrested accused will be brought to Siliguri.
