SFI stages protest in Siliguri against corruption in college admission

Siliguri, 09th September: The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) Darjeeling District Committee staged a protest rally in Siliguri alleging corruption regarding the admission process in various colleges.


The protestors also demanded a waiver of college admission fees and opposed the new education policy of the central government. Reportedly, the rally commenced from the Anil Biswas Bhawan in Hillcart Road.

Shankar Majumder, secretary of Darjeeling district SFI, demanded that a transparent process should be formulated immediately concerning the admission. He further asked the government to announce financial packages soon for the economically backward students.

    SFI is the mother of corruption in college and now they are stagging protest rally! Ridiculous. It is permissible only in Indian politicians.
