Rajganj, 21st January: A seminar on sexual harassment and human trafficking was held under the initiative of the Sexual Harassment Prevention Cell and Inter-Complain Cell of Rajganj College.
The seminar, which was held in the meeting hall of Rajganj College on Tuesday, informed the college students regarding sexual harassment and human trafficking.
Discussions were also held regarding the punishment for such crimes and how the victims, especially women and children, can get free legal aid.
Senior public prosecutor of Jalpaiguri Juvenile Justice Board Santa Chatterjee, Belakoba Legal Aid Clinic Secretary Debashish Ghosh, Principal of the college Haraprasad Mishra, Rajganj Police Station OC Kesang Lama and many more dignitaries were present during the seminar.
