Naxalbari, 26th February: The second phase of ‘Didir Suraksha Kavach’ program started in Naxalbari, on Sunday. President of Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress Papiya Ghosh acted as the representative of CM Mamata Banerjee in the said camp.
The leader started the program by offering prayers at the crematorium Kalibari. And then visited different areas and listened to the grievances of the common people. Papiya Ghosh also paid visit to Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Raipara, ISKCON temple and Naxalbari Majar. She was accompanied by Siliguri Mahakma Parishad Chairman Arun Ghosh, Block President Prithvish Roy, Youth Block President Viraj Sarkar, Vidyut Das and others.
In this regard, Papiya Ghosh said that she went to various houses in Raipara of Naxalbari and listened to the problems of the public. She assured to solve them as soon as possible. Apart from this, she added that work is being done on two major roads in the area. Reportedly, in the afternoon, the program concluded at a party worker’s house after a meeting at the party office.
