Rajganj, 07th September: Road Safety Week was celebrated in Ambari through the “Safe Drive Save Life” programme. The event was held from September 01 to 07.
Today, on the last day of the programme, an event was organized at Ambari Post Office More under the joint initiative of Traffic Guard and Ambari outpost police under New Jalpaiguri police station.
Through the programme, the motorists were made aware of the traffic rules. At the same time, IC Shantha Sheel of Traffic Guard of New Jalpaiguri police station, OC Sajal Roy of Ambari outpost and other police officers gave helmets and roses to the motorbike riders without helmets.
