Rajganj, 12th June: Jalpaiguri District-in-Council member Lovely Parveen and Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy inaugurated the construction work of a 2.5 km paved road in Sukhani Gram Panchayat area under Rajganj block.
As per the information, the road will be constructed from the Badlapukur Fakirapara up to Bharat Sevashram School. In this context, Lovely Parveen stated that the repair work has commenced as per the demands of the locals. She further stated that the work will be completed under the supervision of the Jalpaiguri District-in-Council at a cost of 20 lakh rupees.
Apart from this, MLA Khageshwar Roy stated that all the construction work will be done following government protocols and maintaining social distance. The cited agency has been asked to complete the work within 3 months.
Rajganj Panchayat Samiti President Purnima Roy, District-in-Council member Debashish Pramanik, Rajganj BDO NC Sherpa, Gram Panchayat Pradhan Shampa Dutta and many other dignitaries were present during the inaugural event.
