Rajganj, 08th January: A road, about 3 and a half km in length, is being constructed from the Canal More to Haricharan Bhita of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat in Rajganj. A total amount of 58 lakh rupees is being spent by the Jalpaiguri District Council in the road construction work.
On Wednesday, Uttara Barman, the Sabhadipati of the District Council inaugurated the road construction work. Due to the construction of the road, the inconvenience faced by the people of Baniyapada, Birban, and Haricharan Bhita villages will be solved. The people of the area are happy with the construction of the road.
Today’s program was attended by the Jalpaiguri District Council co-mentor Ahidar Rahman, Rajganj Panchayat Samiti President Purnima Roy, Gram Panchayat Pradhan Shashi Chandra Barman and Deputy Pradhan Tushar Kanti Dutta and many other people.
