Siliguri, 15th January: The Railway management has initiated the restoration work of the Fuleshwari rail gate in Ward No. 24 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC). Notably, as a consequence of the dilapidated condition of the said railway gate, the citizens faced numerous hardships.
As per reports, the repair works commenced on Monday. During this, Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh and ADRM Sanjay Chilwarwar arrived at the spot and took stock of the work. The officials also revealed that survey work has begun for alternative arrangements to resolve the issue of traffic congestion at the Bagrakot railway gate adjacent to Ward No. 18.
