Siliguri, 18th June: In wake of the recent tragic train accident, the railway authorities are engaged in extensive efforts to normalize train services at Rangapani in Siliguri. Reportedly, the incident occurred 24 hours ago and claimed the lives of 11 individuals as a result.
As per the details received, the work has commenced to repair the overhead wires and restore the affected rail track followed by rescue operations. Significantly, officials have been stationed at the site since the incident, with high-ranking railway officials arriving early Tuesday morning.
Subsequently, the progress of the restoration work is being closely monitored while efforts are underway to resume operations on the main track by Tuesday.
