Fulbari, 07th March: The residents of Fulbari adjacent to Siliguri are concerned over the continuous wastage of water due to the absence of proper taps in various areas including Paschim Dhantala, Purba Dhantala, and Murder More.
According to reports, different parts of the state are grappling with water crisis amid the scorching heat while gallons of water are wasted every day in several areas of Fulbari. This wastage has prompted local concerns as many areas are experiencing acute shortages of water.
In this regard, locals reported that the water supplied by the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department starts in the morning. However, due to the absence of the taps, water continues to be wasted.

He assured to discuss the matter with the PHE office, emphasizing that despite repeated attempts to install taps, they are either broken or stolen.
