Siliguri, 05th December: A voluntary blood donation camp, free health check up, and diabetes check up was organized under the joint initiative of Rathkhola Navin Sangha and Robinhood Army Siliguri at Navin Sangha Club, Ward No. 22 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
It has been learned that dengue outbreak has been reported in Siliguri amid the COVID situation. As a result, blood crisis has occurred. Keeping that in mind, a blood donation camp was organized today. The collected blood will be sent to the blood bank of North Bengal Medical College-Hospital.
Anamika Dutta, a member of Robinhood Army Siliguri, said, “One unit of blood can save three lives. Every individual must come forward and donate blood. We will continue to take such initiatives with the cooperation of all.”
