Siliguri, 12th September: Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress President Ranjan Sarkar met the mourning family of Chhote Lal Gupta, who was killed in a property dispute.
Sarkar visited the deceased’s house in Nehru Road under Siliguri Municipal Corporation’s Ward No. 07. Sarkar assured to provide all possible help to the family and bring justice to the departed soul.
While addressing the media, Ranjan Sarkar stated that the family of deceased Chhote Lal Gupta was provided with the financial assistance of 5 thousand rupees from the Trinamool Congress of Ward No. 07. Along with this, the responsibility of Shraddha programme of the deceased has also been taken on behalf of the party.
It is to recall, on August 27, a dispute between two brothers over their ancestral property, took away the life of the younger brother Chhote Lal Gupta.
After the conflict, Chhote Lal got critically injured and was rushed to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries.
