Siliguri, 17th June: Following the tragic train accident in Rangapani, Chief Minister (CM) Mamata Banerjee visited the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) to meet the injured.
Upon landing at Bagdogra Airport on Monday, the Chief Minister proceeded directly to NBMCH. During her visit, she expressed her ongoing commitment to overseeing the situation since the accident occurred.
CM Banerjee commended the efforts of doctors, junior doctors, and nurses, as well as the police and local community for their swift rescue operations. She assured that the injured are in stable condition and that arrangements are being made for their continued treatment, family contact, and safe return home.
