Kalimpong, 18th August: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista inaugurated the newly set up Aadhar Seva Kendra (ASK) at Primtam Road, Kalimpong, on Wednesday.
The initiative to set up the Aadhar Seva Kendra (ASK) was taken as many people residing in forest villages, tea, and cinchona gardens in Kalimpong, Darjeeling, and Siliguri faced huge difficulties due to the lack of Aadhar centres in their area.
Similarly, another Aadhar Seva Kendra is also being set up near Bokshi Jhora in Darjeeling which will be made operational in another 10-15 days. With the coming up of these new centres, the problems and difficulties faced by people concerning Aadhar will be resolved and the Aadhar update process will become easy and simple.
“I once again take this opportunity to reassure everyone that our government and our party is committed to ensure that the people from Darjeeling hills, Terai and Dooars get all the facilities and that their rights are protected. Though government processes take a bit longer to complete, I assure our people that we will fulfill all the commitments we have made to the people of Darjeeling hills, Terai and Dooars,” MP Bista said in a statement.
