Raju Bista expresses regret as he could not meet Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya

Siliguri, 10th January: Darjeeling MP Raju Bisht expressed regret over not being able to meet Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya during his Siliguri visit. MP was to meet the Siliguri Municipal Corporation Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya during the Sampark Abhiyan in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Ward No. 23, this morning but was not able to as the Mayor is not in the city. To this, the MP said that he is in good terms with Ashok Bhattacharya, but does not wish to associate their friendship with politics.
