Alipurduar, 04th February: Municipal elections are knocking at the door and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has entered the fray with the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA) as a weapon. Raju Banerjee, the State General Secretary of the BJP, stepped forward to convince the general public in Ward No. 20 of Alipurduar municipality, regarding CAA, today.
Addressing the journalists during the event, he stated that the Chief Minister of West Bengal, as well as other political parties, are spreading propaganda regarding the CAA. So, in this context, he launched a Door-to-Door campaign to raise awareness regarding CAA among the common people.
