Rajganj, 30th January: Tapan Dey of Rajganj has been designated as the new Jalpaiguri district president of the Indian National Trinamool Trade Union Congress (INTTUC).
According to reports, Tapan Dey has been associated with the labour organizations for a very long time. Subsequently, the union assigned him a significant responsibility to put his experience to good use. As soon as his name was revealed as the new district president, Rajganj block leadership and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supporters from several Gram Panchayats gathered to greet him on Tuesday.
In this regard, INTTUC’s new district president Tapan Dey emphasized his involvement in the labour organizations for a long time. As a result, the party has entrusted him with the major responsibilities of the Jalpaiguri district. He further expressed his gratification and willingness to work in the interests of the workers.
