Rajganj’s Paghalu Para Yubak Sangh commences ‘Khutti Puja’ preparations for Durga Puja

Rajganj, 16th August: Rajganj’s Paghalu Para Yubak Sangh Mahilavrinda has officially begun preparations for this year’s Durga Puja with the traditional ‘Khutti Puja’. The celebrations will feature a unique puja mandap designed to resemble a Buddhist temple from Taiwan.

The preparations commenced on Friday with a pillar worship ceremony attended by Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy. The puja, organized by the women of Paghalu Para, located near Sahudangi in the Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block, is set to have a significant cultural impact.

The puja mandap, inspired by Taiwanese Buddhist architecture, will be constructed with a budget of approximately Rs 12 lakh. In addition to the main puja, a series of cultural programs will be held over four days. The organizers anticipate a large turnout and hope the event will be a grand success.
