Rajganj, 10th September: Vijay Debnath, a young resident of Panikauri in Rajganj, is determined to pursue his dream of becoming a successful cricketer despite facing numerous challenges.
Vijay, a first-year student at Rajganj College, has been passionate about cricket since childhood. However, his journey has been hindered by the absence of a dedicated cricket club or coaching center in the region, even though Rajganj boasts a football academy.
Reportedly, Vijay’s family consists of his father, who runs a small vegetable business, his mother, and a younger brother. With limited resources, he has been training on his own, relying solely on his willpower. He practices bowling in a secluded area near his home, aspiring to become a fast bowler.
The young aspiring cricketer expressed his desire for the establishment of a cricket coaching center in Rajganj, similar to the football academy, which has produced national-level players.
He believes that despite the local talent, the lack of proper training facilities prevents aspiring cricketers from reaching their full potential. Vijay remains determined to overcome these obstacles and achieve his cricketing dreams.
