Rajganj, 24th February: The 514th birth anniversary of the renowned warrior of Northeast India, Viswa Mahabir Chilarai, was observed in Rajganj.
According to reports, earlier on Saturday, the All Kamtapur Koch Rajbanshi Samaj commemorated the day. The organization paid floral tributes to a portrait of Mahabir Chilarai in the Cheulibari area under the Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of the Rajganj block.
In addition, a special discussion meeting was held on Mahabir Chilarai’s biography. Members of the organization, including Mohammad Hasibul, Manoranjan Roy, and others were present at the meeting.
