Rajganj, 11th May: Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy held a meeting with the traders concerning the partial lockdown imposed to fight against the pandemic, on Tuesday.
The meeting was held with the traders in the presence of the police administration at the Devi Chowdhurani meeting room of the Shikarpur Gram Panchayat office in Belakoba under Rajganj block.
After the meeting, MLA Khageshwar Roy said, “Today we held discussions with the Belakoba outpost police and traders. From now on, grocery stores and sweet shops will be open from 7 am to 10 am and from 5 pm to 7 pm. If any shop is kept open post the said time, legal action will be taken.”
The meeting was attended by Jalpaiguri District-in-council president Uttara Barman, Rajganj Panchayat Samiti president Purnima Roy, Belakoba outpost OC Laxman Pokrel and the traders.
