Rajganj, 13th February: A motorcycle rally was organized by the Rajganj Block Yuva Trinamool Congress protesting against the increase in the price of petroleum products.
The rally commenced from Belakoba Battala in support of Abhishek Banerjee’s public meeting in Nagarakata and protesting against the increase in petrol price and privatization of various organizations.
In this regard, Jalpaiguri District Yuva President Saikat Chatterjee said that the rally was taken out in support of Abhishek Banerjee’s public meeting in Nagarakata on February 20 and protesting against the privatization of railways and life insurance as well as price hike of petroleum products.
Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy, Rajganj Panchayat Samiti President Purnima Roy, Trinamool Block President Laikkha Mohan Roy, Yuva President Tushar Dutta, and other organization leaders were present at the rally.
