Rajganj, 23rd August: Despite heavy rain, a large protest march took place in Belakoba demanding strict punishment for those responsible for the outrageous R.G. Kar incident. On Thursday night, a large number of women, men, and children participated in the demonstration.
As per reports, the R.G. Kar case has triggered widespread unrest across the state, with various political and non-political organizations staging protests in different districts. In Belakoba, a major protest march was organized on Thursday.
The march commenced from the Belakoba High School ground amidst the rain and traversed through various streets, including Battala, before concluding back at the high school ground. The protestors voiced their demand for stringent action against the culprits involved in the incident.
