Naxalbari, 22nd December: Sensation prevailed after a python was rescued from Kalua Jote in the Maniram area of Naxalbari block created a stir.
According to local sources, the locals were terrified after noticing the python in the area for several days. Upon receiving the news, Naxalbari Tukaria Forest Department personnel reached the spot and rescued the snake.
According to forest department sources, the 6-7 feet long python will be released into the forest.
