Protest meeting held in Rajganj against repeal of farm law and hike in petrol price

Rajganj, 30th July: CPIM All India Krishak Sabha held a protest meeting to oppose the increase in the price of petroleum products and demanding for repeal of the farm law


The protest meeting was held at Paglahat in Rajganj on Friday evening. The organization alleged that the farmers will face troubles due to the centre’s farm law. Farmers have been protesting for seven months demanding repeal of the law. However, the centre has not taken any steps yet. Besides, protest was also staged against the rising price of petroleum products in the COVID situation.

Krishak Sabha Rajganj Police station committee secretary Kharendranath Roy, CPIM Rajganj Area Committee Secretary Ratan Roy, former MP Mahendra Kumar Roy, Moktal Hossain, Saukat Ali, Amulya Sharma, and others were present at the protest meeting.
