Rajganj, 20th September: A protest meeting was organized on Sunday under the initiative of the Rajganj block Mantadari Anchal Trinamool Congress committee against various policies of the central government as well as privatization of government agencies.
Besides, 160 families joined TMC today under the leadership of Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy.
Rajganj Panchayat Samiti President Purnima Roy, Rajganj Block Chairman Mosharraf Hussain, Rajganj Block President Laikkhya Mohan Roy, and Mantadari Chief Deepak Biswas were present during the programme.
On the other hand, several activists and supporters left various parties under the leadership of SC/ST/OBC cell district president Krishna Das and joined TMC at Saraswatipur Tea Garden in Shikarpur Gram Panchayat, on Sunday.
Sadar Block President Arjun Das, Patkata Pradhan Hembram, PurnaChandra Roy, Bidhan Roy, and many others were present today.
