Naxalbari, 25th August: Residents of Hatighisa in Naxalbari took out a protest march against the violent rape and murder case at the R.G. Kar Hospital in Kolkata.
The protest began at Hatighisa More and concluded back at the same location. The protestors demanded stringent punishment for the culprits involved in the case.
On this day, demonstrators, including both men and women, carried effigies of Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital, as part of their protest.
