Siliguri, 06th July: On the 120th birth anniversary of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, a procession was taken out on behalf of BJP No. -01 Mandal Committee.
Darjeeling MP Raju Bista was present in the procession which commenced from the Hanuman Mandir in Mallaguri and toured around different parts of the city.
“Today is the birthday of the great man who made Jammu and Kashmir an integral part of India. Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was the first Hindu nationalist to form the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. Today is a day of pride for Bengal and entire India. To commemorate the contributions of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, his birth anniversary is being observed on behalf of BJP,” Raju Bista said while addressing the media.
