Rajganj, 22nd June: Preparations for the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath have commenced at Adarsha Pally Sri Sri Gour Nitai Temple in Rajganj, starting with the bathing rituals of the deity. The temple committee has organized a 9-day religious program to celebrate the occasion.
This year marks the fourth Rath Yatra for the Adarsha Pally Sri Sri Gour Nitai Temple, located in the Farabari area of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat in Rajganj block. The temple committee announced plans to host the festival in a grand manner, with support from the local Adarsha Pally Smarniya Club.
The Rath Yatra is set to begin on July 7, starting from the temple premises and concluding at the Smarniya Club after traversing various routes. Daily religious rituals, including worship, evening aarti, discourses, and cultural programs, will take place every afternoon throughout the festival.
The Ulta Rath Yatra will begin on July 15 from the Smarniya Club premises, following different routes before returning to the temple. Preparations for these events are in full swing, ensuring a vibrant and festive atmosphere for all participants.
