Siliguri, 11th February: A person charged with robbery was arrested by the Pradhan Nagar Police, late Monday night. The arrested has been identified as Babu Sarkar.
As per the report, a woman, identified as Nasreen Jaikia, was robbed at the Siliguri Tenzing Norgay bus terminus, on February 4. Her gold earrings, two rings, bangles and her purse containing 12 thousand rupees were snatched by Sarkar.
As soon as the police launched an investigation regarding the incident, Sarkar was arrested from the South Bharat Nagar Fuleswari
area late on Monday night. Police are further investigating the matter.
