Siliguri, 15th June: The Pradhan Nagar police arrested three with intoxicating injections, on Monday night. The arrested accused have been identified as Bharat Das, a resident of Rajiv Nagar, Ujjwal Tamang, a resident of Jorebungalow, and Deepesh Chhetri, a resident of Kalimpong.
The police, based on a tip-off, launched operations at the Rajiv Nagar area and arrested the three. 117 pieces of intoxicating injections were recovered from their possession.
They were produced at Siliguri court and a case has been filed against them under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. The Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
