Siliguri, 27th January: The Pradhan Nagar Police of Siliguri arrested an individual along with a gun from the Gurung Basti area, on Sunday night. The arrested individual has been identified as Sipul Roy.
According to sources, on Sunday night, Roy was allegedly on his way to Ramnarayana Maidan in Gurung Basti to kill someone. Upon receiving the news, the Police reached the spot and arrested Roy. A gun and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession. The accused was presented in the Siliguri court, today.
