Siliguri, 23rd May: On the 08th day of the lockdown, personnel of Pradhan Nagar Police Station of Siliguri Metropolitan Police arrested ten people for violating the lockdown imposed by the state government in view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases.
According to information received, the team campaigned in various areas under the police station on Sunday, including Champasari, Gurung Busty, Siliguri Junction, Mallaguri, Darjeeling Road, Rajiv Nagar. During this period, ten people were arrested for keeping their shops open defying the lockdown protocols.
