Siliguri, 28th February: The residents of Ward No. 21 alleged that poor-quality cement is being mixed with sand and gravel for road construction work. It was reported that this morning, the construction work was underway in the Rabindranagar area of Ward No. 21, during which the locals submitted a complaint to the Councillor regarding the usage of poor-quality cement.
Upon receiving the news, the Trinamool Ward Yuva Congress President Dipankar Sarkar and Councillor’s husband Tapan Dutta reached the spot and interrupted the construction work. Following the complaint, the road construction work started afresh. Such an initiative has been taken so that the quality of work is not hampered.
