Siliguri, 30th January: Tourist places and picnic spots are closed as per the restrictions imposed across the state. Even then, people are spotted organizing picnic defying government restrictions.
On Sunday, the Pradhan Nagar police launched operations in a picnic spot near the Gulma river. Questions are being raised on why a state government vehicle was present at the site.
Police arrested 4 people in the incident today. The misusers of government vehicles have also been called to the police station. The police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
