Phansidewa, 17th November: In a significant breakthrough, the cops of Bidhannagar Investigation Center launched an operation on Chenga River in Muraliganj of Bidhannagar of Phansidewa block. However, no arrests have been made in connection to the case.
As per reports, acting on a tip-off, the police launched an operation in the said area. Upon being alerted about police presence, the alleged sand mafia left two sand-laden tractors and fled from the spot. Subsequently, the officials of Bidhannagar Investigation Center arrived at the spot and seized the two tractors loaded with sand. At present, the police are engaged in a detailed investigation of the entire matter.
