Police arrest TMC leader Gautam Goswami in land grab case

Siliguri, 05th July: In a significant development, the Siliguri Metropolitan Police’s Special Operation Group (SOG) has arrested another Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader, Gautam Goswami, in connection with a land grab case. This follows the recent arrest of expelled TMC leader Debashish Pramanik.


 

As per reports, Gautam Goswami, hailing from the Dabgram-Fulbari area, was apprehended in Delhi. He was subsequently transported to Bagdogra Airport on Friday and is currently detained at Matigara police station.


 

The arrest pertains to a land grab case in the Fulbari area. Upon his arrest, Gautam Goswami expressed his continued allegiance to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee, stating he has faith in the law.
