Siliguri, 04th March: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to hold a public meeting in Siliguri on March 9.
Despite the fact that the Lok Sabha elections have yet to be announced, political parties are launching campaigns across the country, including Bengal. In this context, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced candidates for several constituencies in West Bengal. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister is expected to hold a meeting on the grounds of Kawakhali on March 9 in the presence of a multitude of BJP workers from several districts of North Bengal.
It is to be noted that earlier, the Prime Minister held a meeting at Kawakhali ahead of the assembly elections in 2021. The state leaders of BJP have already mentioned a decision on PM Modi’s anticipated public meeting in Siliguri. Additionally, the Prime Minister may lay the foundation stone for some government projects before the meeting.
