Siliguri, 27th January: On Monday, a ‘Path Sabha’ was organized on behalf of the ‘Bangla Bachao Joutha Mancha’ organized jointly by various organizations protesting against National Register of Citizens (NRC), National Population Register (NPR) and Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA). The gathering was held at the Auto Stand in Bidhan Road, Siliguri.
Dr. Mukunda Majumder, Basudev Saha, advocate Sanjiv Chakraborty, Subhash Saha and many more dignitaries were present during the occasion. Various demands, including the elimination of NRC, NPR and CAA were presented on behalf of the organization.
