Rajganj, 06th January: A government passenger bus and a bike collided on the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway, leaving the biker severely injured. The accident occurred on Monday afternoon near Bandhunagar in Rajganj.
According to local sources, the government bus was traveling from Siliguri to Jalpaiguri with passengers when a speeding bike on the same road crashed into the rear of the bus. The impact left the bike rider critically injured. Locals promptly rescued the injured rider and rushed him to a private hospital in Fulbari for treatment.
Upon receiving information about the incident, officers from the Bhorer Alo Police Station and the Fulbari Highway Traffic Police reached the scene. The police have seized the accident-affected vehicles and begun investigating the case.
