Paschim Banga Vigyan Mancha reaches Bagdogra’s Chittaranjan High School to take stock of ghosts encounter claims 

Bagdogra, 04th February: A bizarre case has come to the fore from Bagdogra’s Chittaranjan High School after students are suddenly falling ill. The reason is as much eccentric and eerie as the happenings in the school. The students are believed to get sick after having ghost encounters at the school. Many students have stopped coming to school due to fear. After which, to clear the fear among the students, Paschim Banga Vigyan Mancha reached the school to take stock.


Reportedly on Friday, some students of fifth and sixth grade reported ghost encounters in the school during the lunch break. Although the teachers of the school came to the class and tried to explain to the students, however, it did not help. 

Today the personnel of Paschim Banga Vigyan Mancha reached the school and explained to the students with scientific explanation. Shankar Kar, president of Paschim Banga Vigyam Mancha, Darjeeling district, disregarded the existence of ghosts and apparitions and shunned the superstitions, attached to them by creating awareness through scientific explanations. 


On the other hand, the school’s headmistress Tapati Halder said that the school held a program to spread awareness and remove the fear of ghosts from the students’ minds. Halder further added that the management will conduct a door-to-door campaign in the coming days.
