Siliguri, 03rd March: The yearlong birth centenary celebrations of Siliguri’s prominent sportsperson Late Panu Dutta Mazumdar commenced on July 4, 2020.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Panu Dutta Majumdar Birth Centenary Carnival Celebration Committee president Nantu Paul said that various competitions will be organized from March 03 to continue the yearlong birth centenary celebrations. Various sports competitions have been arranged including inter-coaching cricket camp competitions, exhibition cricket for veteran cricketers, chess and football competition.
Besides, rallies, sports, seminars, inter-school sports quizzes will be organized with all the players. At the end of the year, 50 athletes will be felicitated and the best athletes of the year will be awarded.
