Siliguri, 10th January: Panitanki Traffic Guard organized a traffic awareness camp at Siliguri Boys’ High School today, aiming to instill knowledge about traffic rules among students. The initiative focused on educating students about the importance of traffic signals, road crossing rules, wearing helmets and seatbelts, and following traffic laws.
The event was attended by Siliguri Traffic Department ACP Anirban Majumdar, several officers from Panitanki Traffic Guard, and the school’s teachers. To encourage active participation, a question-and-answer session was also held, allowing students to clarify their doubts.
ACP Anirban Majumdar said, “Children are our future. If we can make the next generation aware of traffic rules from an early age, the country will be safer and more disciplined in the future. Following traffic rules is not just the law, it is our responsibility.” He also mentioned that more such awareness programs will be organized in the future.
