Dhupguri, 25th February: Panic prevailed in Dhupguri after a leopard was spotted moving through the residential area on Friday morning.
It has been learned that a leopard entered a house in the Basakpara area of Ward No. 04 in Dhupguri and then took shelter in the branch of a tree. People crowded to catch a glimpse of the animal.
The news was given to Binnaguri Wildlife Squad. Upon receiving the news, the forest workers reached the spot and initiated rescue work.
