Pair of pythons rescued from Bagdogra’s Trihana Tea Estate

Bagdogra, 12th June: Two massive pythons were found slithering on the grounds of the Trihana tea garden in Bagdogra by the garden labourers this afternoon while plucking tea leaves. As soon as the reptiles were spotted, the workers put an end to their work and alerted the others.

The locals arrived at the scene after hearing the cries and captured both the 9 feet and 11 feet-long pythons and later handed them over to the Bagdogra Forest Department. Reportedly, both pythons will be released deep in the forest after a primary health examination.
