Jalpaiguri, 11th May: In light of the COVID-19 lockdown, a community kitchen has been recently built at the Jalpaiguri Beguntari More under the initiative of the Chattra Yuva leaders.
As per the report, meals are cooked regularly in the newly built kitchen for the past 12 days, which is then distributed among several poor people in the city.
Padma Shri Karimul Haque visited the kitchen today and cooked a variety of meals to feed the needy people.
