Siliguri, 05th July: A collision between a bike and a scooter near Kankata More on the Eastern Bypass resulted in one person being injured.
According to reports, the accident occurred on Friday when a scooter traveling from Ashighar More towards Gora More collided with a bike near Kankata More. The bike rider was crossing the road when the incident happened. The injured individual was promptly rescued and transported to Siliguri District Hospital for treatment.
The scooter rider claimed that the bike rider was crossing the road while talking on the phone and asserted that he was not at fault for the accident. The police are currently investigating the entire incident.
