Siliguri, 28th June: In a devastating incident, a man lost his life after being brutally attacked by a bull in the Adarsha Pally area of Ward No. 04. The victim, identified as Parimal Barman (51), was fatally wounded while returning home from a nearby tea shop.
As per reports, Parimal Barman was suddenly charged by the bull, causing him to collapse on the ground. The bull continued its assault until local residents intervened and managed to drive the animal away. Despite their efforts, Barman succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Reportedly, the bull has injured several individuals in the past. Despite reporting to the concerned authorities, no action had been taken regarding the matter. Following the recent attack, the Siliguri Municipal Corporation swiftly responded by capturing the bull and releasing it in the Baikunthapur forest.
